The St. Damian Food Pantry delivers non-perishable groceries and some non-food items to the needy in Oak Forest. We are not currently involving volunteers in the packing of groceries, but we do need help with delivery. We are in need of drivers! We will give you bags of groceries to deliver to our friends in need beginning at 8:30am the Saturday of the distribution. Come to the School door closest to the Church to pick up a set of groceries to deliver. Are you in need of food, or do you know someone who is? Call our HOTLINE at 708-802-0484 and leave a message. We are a community of faith offering help and hope, spiritual and emotional support for those caring for loved ones suffering with Mental health difficulties. We always meet on the third Thursday of the month at 7pm-8:30pm in the Pastoral Center. For information contact Maria at 708.284.6511.

We join together in prayer for the legal protection of unborn children beginning at 9:00am Mass. Eucharistic exposition will follow immediately in our chapel. The pro life rosary will be prayed each half hour until 2:00pm. At 2:00pm a Holy Hour with Adoration will be in the Church. We will pray the Divine Mercy chaplet together at 3:00pm. Fr. In observance of the 49th anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision that legalized abortion in America, we are holding a novena of rosaries. The first rosary is prayed at 10:00am, the last at 2:00pm. Rosaries will be prayed on the half hour using the meditations from Priests for Life. The daily novena will be held Monday, January 17th through Friday, January 21st. All are welcome.

Mental Health Awareness Support Group

We always meet on the third Thursday of the month at 7pm-8:30pm in the Pastoral Center.

Prayer Vigil forthe Legal Protection of the Unborn

We join together in prayer for the legal protection of unborn children beginning at 9:00am Mass. Eucharistic exposition will follow immediately in our chapel. The pro life rosary will be prayed each half hour until 2:00pm. At 2:00pm a Holy Hour with Adoration will be in the Church. We will pray the Divine Mercy chaplet together at 3:00pm. Fr. Joe Noonan will end the prayer vigil with Benediction at 3:15pm. All are welcome for any amount of time!
