Community Outreach
From time to time, we all find ourselves needing assistance.
St. Damian Community Outreach is not an established group or ministry - it is a call to action for the Church. Parishioners answer the call to help their neighbor in a variety of ways. Who is our neighbor? The elderly, the disabled, the single parents, anyone faced with a task too big for them to handle alone. Parishioners volunteer their time on a one time basis to help clean, paint, cut bushes and lawns, move heavy items etc. The work done depends on the volunteers we have.
Community Outreach Projects are promoted through our bulletin and facebook pages. We also maintain an email list of possible volunteers. If you are interested in being notified of upcoming projects to help with, send your email and contact information to Connie at ConnieS@stdamianchurch.org. Please add if you have any special talents: plumbing, painting, etc.
