Abortion Law in the News

Friday, June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court issued a decision on the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health case which overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion across all 50 states.  This recent decision does not make abortion illegal.  The decision returns the responsibility of abortion laws to each respective state.  It is no longer a federal law.  Cuurently, the State of Illinois allows abortion on demand for any reason at any time.  Parental Notification is not required.

Do you have uncertainties about changing the current abortion laws?  Do you have family and friends that don't accept the importance of defending the unborn?  Do you feel that personally, you are opposed to abortion, but you cannot impose your values on another?  There are wonderful educational resources available to explore your uncertainties and give you reasonable answers.
