    A St. Peregrine healing prayer service begins at 7:00 pm in the church; St Peregrine is the patron saint of those suffering with cancer. Come for prayer for yourself or for a loved one.
    Prayer teams for private intentions will be available at 8:00 pm.

    The Chicago March for lIfe is the biggest pro-life event in the Midwest! St. Damian will provide a bus leaving at 11:30 am. Marchers will attend Mass at St. Peter's then proceed to Federal Plaza to join the March. Call Rita at 532-4117 to reserve your spot in the bus! Free will donation.

    Volunteers are always needed. Please come and join us! You can help by showing up at 7:30 am on the third Saturday of the month. You can find us by looking for a large red and white food pantry sign by the school doors just east of the church doors at St. Damian Parish. During the first hour, hundreds of bags of groceries are packed. By 8:30 am volunteers begin delivering the sets of food to clients throughout the Oak Forest community.

  • National Day of Prayer for the Protection of Unborn Children

    The American Catholic Church joins in prayer on this day for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life, and of penance for the violations of the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion. The traveling statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be present in the chapel. Prayers start at 8:00 am in the Church, Mass at 9:00 am, Eucharistic Adoration follows in the Chapel until 7:00pm.
