 Girl Scouts

The Oakview Girl Scouts of Oak Forest Association’s motto:

Girl Scouting is for every girl, everywhere—where today’s girls can become tomorrow’s leaders.

Membership in Girl Scouts is open to girls  ages 5-17; serving girls in Oak Forest schools from grades K-12th.  Women and men over 17 can join as adult members.

Most girls join a local troop or group for fun and friendship.  They also build character and self-esteem while serving  their communities.  These are the core qualities of Girl Scouts. In Girl Scouts, girls discover a safe place to grow and share new experiences, learn to relate to others, develop values, and contribute to society.  And they have fun in the process.
