Mental Health Awareness Support Group
We are a community of faith offering help and hope, spiritual and emotional support for those caring for loved ones suffering with Mental health difficulties. Volunteers are always needed. Please come and join us! You can help by showing up at 7:30 am on the third Saturday of the month. You can find us by looking for a large red and white food pantry sign by the school doors just east of the church doors at St. Damian Parish. During the first hour, hundreds of bags of groceries are packed. By 8:30 am volunteers begin delivering the sets of food to clients throughout the Oak Forest community. THE FOOD PANTRY IS CURRENTLY OPERATING UNDER SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES. VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME> Daily Mass

Many organizations across the U.S are helping to raise awareness throughout this COVID pandemic as many folks are experiencing depression, anxiety and exacerbations of their mental illness symptoms. Our MHA parish support group believes that healing is possible. Come join us as we share are experiences and learn ways to cope and support our loved ones during these troubled times.

Food Pantry

Volunteers are always needed. Please come and join us! You can help by showing up at 7:30 am on the third Saturday of the month. You can find us by looking for a large red and white food pantry sign by the school doors just east of the church doors at St. Damian Parish. During the first hour, hundreds of bags of groceries are packed. By 8:30 am volunteers begin delivering the sets of food to clients throughout the Oak Forest community.
THE FOOD PANTRY IS CURRENTLY OPERATING UNDER SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES. VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME>
THERE IS A GREAT NEED FOR DONATIONS OF NON PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS. THE BLUE PLASTIC COLLECTION BIN CAN BE FOUND IN THE SCHOOL DOOR CLOSEST TO THE CHURCH. THANK YOU!Daily Mass
