  There is something for everyone at the St. Damian Block Party! Enjoy live music under the Big Tent, Bingo, Split the Pot Raffles, and lots of delicious food and beverages. There will be a Children's area with games, face painting, inflatables, a dunk tank, and a pinata. New this year is our Car Show from noon - 4pm. At 8 pm we will draw the Damian Raffle Grand Prize Winner of $50,000!!

• Food Pantry

  Saturday Aug 15, 2015 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM

  Volunteers are always needed. Please come and join us! You can help by showing up at 7:30 am on the third Saturday of the month. You can find us by looking for a large red and white food pantry sign by the school doors just east of the church doors at St. Damian Parish. During the first hour, hundreds of bags of groceries are packed. By 8:30 am volunteers begin delivering the sets of food to clients throughout the Oak Forest community.

  The Men’s Spirituality Group invites all men to 8:00 Mass and then to a delicious catered breakfast in Shaw Hall at 9:00.
  While we are enjoying our food we will hear a brief inspirational talk from Patrick Hennessy
  “How men handle grief and loss both great and small”
  
  Patrick Hennessy holds a Masters Degree in Counseling, is a Licensed Practical Counselor with the State of Illinois, National Board Certified and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. Your day is filled with things to do so we promise to have you out at 10:00.
